The name of this organization shall be The Lunch Club.
The Lunch Club is organized for the purpose of creating a safe and supportive environment where students can relax during lunch, form friendships, and feel a sense of belonging. The club encourages positive social interaction and respectful conversation among students from diverse backgrounds.
Membership in the Lunch Club is open to all currently enrolled students at the school.
We have one spokesperson in the Lunch Club that manages all correspondence between the club and ASB. Everyone else is a council member, who can decide who becomes the spokesperson for the month.
Officers shall be elected by a majority vote of active club members. Elections will be held annually at the beginning of the school year. Officers shall serve a term of one school year. Any active member in good standing may run for office.
The Lunch Club shall meet regularly during lunchtime on a designated day of the week. Meetings will include social activities, group discussions, and community-building exercises.
The club will raise money (if needed) through the use of drink fundraisers. Club funds may be used for supplies, activities, events, or other expenses that support the purpose of the Lunch Club.
If any officer would like to modify, add, or remove amendments to the constitution, a vote will be held. The vote is determined by the majority vote.
